Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest product in its popular mecha girl-themed plastic model kit series, "Megami Device," with the upcoming release of "PUNI☆MOFU Silver Wolf" scheduled for March 2026.
The third unit in the PUNI☆MOFU series, "Wolf," also features character design by Japanese illustrator BLADE. Compared to the first two releases, "Cat" and "Rabbit," which utilized the smaller, highly articulated "Block2-S" body, the subsequent "Wolf" and "Owl" characters combine cuteness with a mature, older-sister charm, thus employing the relatively larger, standard "Block2-M" body. This variant, "Silver Wolf," features a significantly altered overall color scheme, including silver hair, creamy fair skin, and silver-gray armor, showcasing a solitary and somewhat cool aesthetic.
The "Megami Device PUNI☆MOFU Silver Wolf" kit is a modified version of the standard "Wolf," also based on the "Block2-M" body designed by sculptor Masaki Apsy, combining beautiful body curves with highly flexible joints. The parts' molded colors utilize new silver hair and fair "Skin Color C" to evoke a cool, snowy white image. It also includes three newly designed pre-painted face parts: "Cool Face," "Sparkling Eyes Face," and "Apology Face," expressing a unique personality.
The overall armor parts feature molded colors such as cobalt blue, silver-gray, black, and clear orange, evoking a swimsuit-like summer vibe, and come with dedicated decals to complement the body markings and detailed color separation. By attaching the various armor parts to the body, it can transform into "Armed Mode." Its main weapon, the twin guns "Roaring PM5 (Silver Specification)," combines the functions of firing large-caliber bullets and a Gatling gun. Furthermore, its playability can be expanded through common 3mm connection points and interchangeable assembly methods, such as connecting the two "Roaring PM5" guns to form a long-handled weapon or attaching the Gatling gun parts to both hands.
