Japanese company SEGA's figure brand 'S-FIRE' has announced the latest product from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," the "FUWA PETIT Chibi Figure Rei Ayanami Long Hair Ver.," scheduled for release in August 2026.
The 'FUWA PETIT' series is a product line launched by Japanese SEGA in collaboration with illustrator March 8th. It re-imagines characters from popular works such as Hatsune Miku, "Touhou Project," and "Evangelion" into cute, two-head-tall chibi designs, offering plush dolls, character figures, and various merchandise, enjoying considerable popularity.
This release, the "FUWA PETIT Chibi Figure Rei Ayanami Long Hair Ver.," brings to life Rei Ayanami's long-haired appearance from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," after she lost her physical body and assimilated with the core of Unit-01, continuing to protect Unit-01 inside the cockpit. The figure faithfully reproduces the two-head-tall chibi proportions designed by March 8th, with new parts recreating her abundant long hair. Both arms feature articulated joints for forward extension, and it comes with two interchangeable expressions, allowing for various cute poses.
