Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division is set to release the new model kit product "HG Huckebein (PTX-08R)" from "Super Robot Wars OG" on December 20, 2025. Official sample images have finally been unveiled just before its release.

The original unit from the "Super Robot Wars" series, "PTX-08R Huckebein," first appeared in "The 4th Super Robot Wars," released in 1995, as a unit usable by players who chose an original real robot protagonist. This machine not only incorporated the most advanced Earth technology of its time, but its power source also utilized the "Black Hole Engine" derived from Extra-Over Technology (EOT), granting it extremely powerful performance. The engine could also be connected to the large-caliber ranged weapon, the "Black Hole Cannon," to fire destructive miniature black holes at enemy units.

The "HG Huckebein (PTX-08R)" utilizes numerous new parts to faithfully recreate the original Huckebein design by mechanical designer Katoki Hajime. Its precise parts capture the curved armor design, distinct from later Huckebein derivatives. Employing Bandai's latest color separation and part division technology, it reproduces the characteristic light blue armor of the original Huckebein, as well as the yellow parts for various antennas, thrusters, and air intakes. Dedicated parts are also used to recreate the power pipe design behind the knee joints.

Weapon accessories include two "Graviton Rifles," a "Chakram Shooter," and a "Black Hole Cannon." The Graviton Rifles recreate the transparent pink blade effect, while the Chakram Shooter can be fitted with blade effects to reproduce its deployed state. The Black Hole Cannon can be posed in a powerful firing scene, held with both hands using dedicated hand parts and an auxiliary stand!
