Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio recently announced the latest product in their "Ultimate Diorama Masterline" series, featuring the video game Horizon Forbidden West: the "Aloy vs. Slitherfang" (アーロイ VS スリザーファング) diorama statue (Bonus Version)! It is scheduled to ship from March to June 2027, with a suggested retail price of 296,890 JPY (tax included), limited to 400 units.
Released in 2022, Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of its predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn. Players control the huntress protagonist "Aloy" as she traverses the American West in the late 31st century, embarking on unknown adventures and battling various machine creatures.
This piece is inspired by the "Reach For The Stars" mission, depicting Aloy confronting the snake-like machine, the "Slitherfang." Standing at an impressive 82 cm tall, it not only recreates a realistic crumbling ruin scene, but also meticulously details the mechanical structure of the metal snake coiled around the stone pillar. From its open-mouthed head to its heavily layered armor, the statue fully captures the Slitherfang's captivating design and P1S's powerful craftsmanship.
