『ROBOT Damashii EVANGELION 13th Unit -Exclusive Edition-』Returns as a Limited Event Commemorative Item!

The special event "GRAND HEROES CROSSOVER FES," bringing together hero characters, is scheduled to grandly open at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Japan starting January 30, 2026 (Friday)! It will feature the event commemorative item "ROBOT Damashii EVANGELION 13th Unit -Exclusive Edition-," with a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY.

The 13th Unit, which appeared in "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition," was referred to by Gendo Ikari as the "final tool" in the ritual, crucial for triggering the Fourth Impact and achieving the Human Instrumentality Project. It is a dual-entry plug, two-person co-piloted EVA, with protagonists Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa serving as pilots. Its appearance is similar to the Unit-01, with slight differences in paintwork and the shape of the horns on its head. It also has two pairs of eyes (the upper pair corresponding to pilot α, the lower pair to pilot β), and an X-shaped cross armor on its chest, concealing a second pair of arms.

The "ROBOT Damashii EVANGELION 13th Unit -Exclusive Edition-" is a re-release of the "ROBOT Damashii EVANGELION 13th Unit" originally released in 2021, as a limited edition. While the specifications are the same as the original, the contents have been reconfigured. In addition to interchangeable wrist parts (left and right), a four-armed chest part, and arms, it also includes two Spears of Longinus to recreate the powerful dual-wielding scene from "Q," as well as the Spear of Cassius, a Tamashii STAGE connector, and interchangeable hand gestures for ROBOT Damashii Unit-01, allowing for the recreation of the thrilling final battle from the series!
