The alloy model series 『HI-METAL R』, released by BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, has announced the latest product from the classic anime 《Armored Trooper VOTOMS》, the "Scopedog Weapon Option Set", scheduled for release in July 2026.
The "ATM-09-ST Scopedog", the official main AT developed by the Gilgamesh Army, was the most mass-produced unit during the Hundred Years' War. In the series, in addition to being piloted by the protagonist Chirico, its high versatility also led to it being modified into various derivative specifications and utilized by different units. The standard specification used by the Melquian Regular Army features a purple-toned paint scheme, and although it is a standard ST type, it is typically assigned to experienced units.
The "HI-METAL R Scopedog Weapon Option Set" product includes a completely new sculpt for the "Handgun" and "Shoulder Missile Pod", as well as "All-Range Rover" and "Solid Shooter" with partially new coloring. These can be freely interchanged with the HI-METAL R Scopedog series units. The display stand allows for the "Armored Trooper VOTOMS Anime Title 3D Logo" to be combined with the support arm for display, recreating the effect of the unit and title text being立体化 (3D) as seen in the anime.
