Join the Toy People editorial team today as we experience the allure of these two exceptional whiskeys!

The popular anime "Solo Leveling" has sparked widespread discussion since its broadcast, even creating the classic "I'm getting plastic surgery alone" meme in Taiwan. The story follows the E-rank hunter protagonist, Sung Jinwoo, who, after a near-death experience, embarks on a seemingly cheat-powered growth path. In addition to the powerful battle scenes and the incredibly satisfying journey of becoming stronger, Sung Jinwoo's change in appearance is also a major, highly-discussed highlight.
These two figurine whiskeys are designed based on the "God Statue," which left a deep impression with its shocking appearance, and Sung Jinwoo's strongest subordinate, "Igris." Although the overall presentation is similar to the "Godzilla Series Figurine Liquors" we've reviewed before—with a 3D model placed atop the bottle for display—this "Solo Leveling" edition features a more slender design. The transparent bottle allows collectors to directly admire the beautiful amber hue of the whiskey. On a relaxing evening, twist open the cap, pour the fine liquor into a glass, and enjoy a tipsy moment of solo drinking!
First up is the "God Statue Ver." figurine whiskey. This piece fully captures the sinister and terrifying aura of the God Statue after its expression changes in the second episode of the anime. Let's appreciate the exquisite sculpt from every angle, which seems to devour all light!

▼ The terrifying, evil smile is made even more horrifying by the numerous wrinkles sculpted on its face.

▼ The sculpting of the hair, with its excellent sense of flow, is also quite impressive.

▼ You can also see weathered details throughout, reflecting its ancient stone statue setting. The wear, chipped corners, and scratches are all exquisitely done.

Beyond its chilling appearance, the whiskey's flavor profile was specially selected to be a "Lightly Peated Malt Whisky" to echo the desperate atmosphere of the temple. The initial nose reveals a clean, subtle smoky aroma, accompanied by underlying hints of damp stone and earth, perfectly matching the cold texture of the "Statue." However, the palate surprisingly delivers a warm malt sweetness and caramel apple notes, finishing with the slight spiciness of white pepper. This contrast, from a sinister exterior to a rich interior, is as full of tension as the plot itself.

The second bottle features the Knight Commander, "Blood-Red Igris," who appears in episode 11 of the anime. This knight, whose helmet and full-body armor seem stained with blood, was an incredibly powerful adversary who pushed Sung Jinwoo into a desperate battle. An ultimate S-class being in speed, power, and experience, he exudes an overwhelmingly heavy and intimidating presence. After Sung Jinwoo successfully completed his second awakening and became the "Shadow Monarch," Igris became his most loyal and powerful commander. Now, let's admire the Igris figurine whiskey from all angles!
▼ The asymmetrical design of the left and right shoulder pauldrons has been faithfully recreated.

▼ The uniquely shaped helmet with its sharp lines is incredibly cool.

▼ The realistic weathering and battle damage perfectly capture Igris's character setting as a battle-hardened warrior.

Compared to the Statue, the Igris version exhibits a knightly elegance. A "Caramel Malt Whisky" was chosen, offering warm aromas of toffee and crème brûlée upon opening. The body is full and smooth, with a palate reminiscent of bread pudding drizzled with caramel sauce. The sweetness is moderate, accompanied by the complexity of baking spices like raisin and cinnamon, and the finish concludes with the slight astringency of oak tannins and a brown sugar aftertaste. This rich and mellow profile is like savoring the loyal and powerful chivalric spirit of Igris.

▼ One represents fear and oppression, the other loyalty and chivalry. Although the two bottles exude completely different auras, they look absolutely stunning together! Moreover, the act of removing the figurine from the top before drinking creates a profound sense of ritual, perfectly aligning with the dark, cruel, yet captivating world of "Solo Leveling."

▼ Changing the lighting setup makes the display even more impressive!
