BANDAI CANDY, the confectionery toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has officially announced the twelfth installment in its popular "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM" action figure candy toy series. Titled "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM VOL.12," this latest release is slated for a June 2026 launch.
The "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM" series builds upon the design philosophy of Bandai's other Gundam candy toy line, "G-FRAME." These popular Mobile Suits from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" franchise are rendered in an approximately 3-head tall proportion, utilizing a standardized "MOBILITY JOINT" articulated frame. Each figure boasts around 20 points of articulation across its body. Furthermore, the exterior armor features a high level of intricate detail, distinct from their original designs. Once assembled with all parts and decals, collectors will have a Mobile Suit standing approximately 70mm tall!
This latest volume introduces four brand-new Mobile Suits: the Barbatos (1st Form), Gundam NT-1, Kampfer, and GM Sniper II. Each Mobile Suit also comes with its dedicated "EX Parts Set," allowing for a wide array of weapon loadouts and even enhanced forms when combined with the main figure, significantly expanding playability.

The 1st Form utilizes the "MOBILITY JOINT" articulated frame to achieve the flexible movements seen in the series, and it comes with a proportionally impressive "Mace." The EX Parts further enhance its arsenal with a 300mm Smoothbore Gun, Katana, Graze's Battle Axe, and Wire Claw. Additionally, two types of shoulder armor parts are included, allowing collectors to recreate the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th forms.

This figure meticulously recreates the rich details of its exterior armor, featuring the deployable "90mm Gatling Guns" on both forearms and an included handheld Beam Rifle. The EX Parts further expand its loadout with a Shield, Beam Saber, a battle-damaged antenna, and a complete set of "Chobham Armor" parts. These "Chobham Armor" components can be directly attached to the NT-1's existing armor hardpoints, allowing for the full recreation of the "Gundam NT-1 with Chobham Armor" configuration.

The figure faithfully reproduces the Kampfer's distinctive and imposing armor design, with specially sculpted hip joint parts that are free of skirt armor. It comes equipped with a Shotgun. The EX Parts further augment its arsenal, adding two "Giant Bazooka II" units, an additional Shotgun, two "Sturm Faust" rocket launchers, and a flexible "Chain Mine," allowing for the recreation of its heavily armed appearance.

The head sculpt has been carefully refined to achieve a striking proportion, and the figure includes a Beam Rifle. The EX Parts set features a "75mm Sniper Rifle," a "Long-Range Beam Rifle," a "Beam Saber," and a "Shield," enabling the figure to strike its iconic single-knee sniping pose. Additionally, this set includes the "RH-35E Draken-E," a combat unit utilized by the Republic of Zeon forces in the series, featuring articulation in its shoulders, waist, hip joints, and knees.
