Japanese animation studio MAPPA has teamed up with renowned statue production company Design COCO to launch a new product based on the classic anime "Ranma ½" – the "Ranma" 1/2 scale pre-painted figure. With a reference price of 660,000 JPY, this limited edition of 100 units is being sold via lottery. Applications are now open on the COCO Store official website until April 16, 2026, with an estimated release in October 2027!

"Ranma ½" is a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" from 1987 to 1996. It was first adapted into a TV anime by STUDIO DEEN in 1989, and in 2024, MAPPA produced a second anime adaptation. The story follows the hilarious daily life of the protagonist, Ranma, who falls into a cursed spring during training, causing him to switch between male and female bodies depending on water temperature.

This Ranma 1/2 scale pre-painted figure boasts an impressive size of 75 cm and is primarily crafted from FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). It depicts female Ranma dynamically standing on one leg, holding a hot water kettle. The smooth and powerful pose, the intricate folds of her Chinese martial arts uniform, the realistic metallic sheen of the hot water kettle in her left hand, and her braids swaying with the movement are all meticulously recreated! As a limited edition item, each figure will come with an exclusive serial number plate as proof, truly demonstrating that only a limited 1/2 scale can perfectly capture the charm of "Ranma ½"!
