Mio Hashimoto is a Japanese female sculptor known for her ability to capture the natural vitality of animals through handmade wooden carvings. To convey the most authentic moments of animals, she not only references extensive animal photographs and data but also interacts directly with animals to further understand their personalities, striving to reproduce them in her sculptures. In addition to her sculptural work, Mio Hashimoto also creates illustrations and picture books. Her collaborative Ultraman kaiju sculptures with GASHAPON retain the classic features of the monsters while presenting a unique aesthetic charm with their warm, handcrafted texture. They stand out as distinctive Ultraman kaiju masterpieces in the market in recent years.
