GUNDAM BASE Limited 'HG 1/144 Geara Doga (Heavy Weapon Specification)' Recreates Intricate Details and Mechanisms of Large Backpack and Lange Bruno Gun with New Parts!

Japan's official Gunpla flagship store for "Mobile Suit Gundam," GUNDAM BASE, has announced its latest store-exclusive limited product, "HG 1/144 Geara Doga (Heavy Weapon Specification)," which will be available for sale starting January 10, 2026.

The AMS-119 Geara Doga is the primary mass-produced mobile suit utilized by the Neo Zeon army led by Char Aznable during the "Second Neo Zeon War." This mobile suit inherits the design concept of high versatility, ease of operation, and simple maintenance from the first-generation "Zaku II," and was developed based on the second-generation masterpiece "Marasai." It is equipped with standard armaments such as a beam machine gun, beam hawk, and shield, possessing performance equivalent to the Earth Federation Forces' primary mass-produced mobile suit, the "Jegan," of that era. The version being released this time is the heavy weapon specification that appeared in the model project 'CCA-MSV'.

The "HG 1/144 Geara Doga (Heavy Weapon Specification)" retains the main body from the previous standard kit. As a model released in 2008, its parts separation, color separation, and articulation design naturally don't match modern new products. However, its cyclops-style design still boasts a cool aesthetic. Additionally, it comes with a rich array of weapon accessories, including a beam machine gun, shield, four Sturm Fausts, and a beam hawk with two types of beam effects.

The heavy weapon specification's large backpack and Lange Bruno Gun are both produced with newly molded parts, recreating intricate detailed sculpts and rich mechanisms. The backpack's two fuel tanks and stabilizer fins feature movable mechanisms, and the chain connecting the backpack to the Lange Bruno Gun is made from soft plastic. The Lange Bruno Gun's barrel features a folding mechanism, its cable is recreated using a single-core wire part, and the barrel section is specially processed to mimic the texture of wrapped synthetic fiber. The magazine parts are interchangeable, and stickers are included to recreate the magazine connecting tape.
