Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular action figure series "MAFEX" has unveiled a new product based on the Marvel movie "Deadpool & Wolverine"—the "No.291 Wolverine Battle Damage Ver." action figure, with a suggested retail price of 14,080 JPY, and is scheduled for release in October 2026!
Wolverine's brown costume first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #139. It was a new costume designed for Wolverine by cartoonist John Byrne in 1980 after he took over the X-Men comic series, changing the iconic blue and yellow color scheme to brown and yellow, and removing the shoulder pads and tiger stripe design. It was an instant hit with fans upon its release and was Logan's primary look throughout the 80s and 90s!
This Wolverine BROWN Ver. action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and is based on the brown suit seen in the movie when Deadpool travels through timelines searching for Wolverine variants. The head sculpt, crafted by Yusuke Kasahara, delicately captures actor Hugh Jackman's features in a small scale. The body appears to be a modified version based on the previously revealed "Wolverine Battle Damage Ver.", recreating the classic brown suit details seen in the film! Accessories include four interchangeable unmasked head sculpts and claw hand parts featuring a Hulk reflection, allowing for dynamic poses to recreate the exciting scene in the movie that pays homage to a classic comic book cover!
