Aura Battler Dunbine "ROBOT SPIRITS Dunbine (H.D.)" Full Reveal: Completely New Sculpt Pursues High-Density Details and Organic Design!

The robot-themed action figure series 'ROBOT魂' (ROBOT SPIRITS), released by BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, has officially announced the latest product from the anime 'Aura Battler Dunbine', the 'Dunbine (H.D.)', scheduled for release in June 2026.

The insect-like robot Dunbine is a prototype Aura Battler developed in Byston Well, an alternate world nestled between land and sea. It is constructed from materials stripped from powerful beasts and artificial processed goods. Its developer, Shot Weapon, aimed to enhance its performance beyond the first Aura Battler, 'Guado'. The improved system demands an extremely high level of Aura Power from its pilot, thus only three exceptionally high-Aura-powered surface dwellers—Sho Zama, Todd, and Tokamak—could be summoned to pilot it.

The 'ROBOT SPIRITS Dunbine (H.D.)' analyzes and researches various creations related to 'Aura Battler Dunbine' since its broadcast. The 'H.D.' in its name stands for 'High Density', signifying a new series that pursues three-dimensional design and high-density detailing. Compared to previous Dunbine series machines released under ROBOT SPIRITS, the H.D. version features a completely new sculpt, with a design style that pays homage to mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi's 'AURA FHANTASM' column in the model magazine 'B-CLUB'.

While respecting the original design, the overall sculpt expresses a biological feel, crafted from processed beast materials. It features elegant and striking curved forms, armor edges reminiscent of Western plate armor, and golden embossed details that evoke the Zwarth. The weaponry, including the Aura Sword, scabbard, and Aura Shot, are also newly sculpted with richer details and finished with metallic paintwork.

The product also incorporates the latest cutting-edge articulation mechanism design from the ROBOT SPIRITS series, allowing for more dynamic poses through numerous pull-out joints. The chest and abdomen feature a cockpit deployment mechanism, enabling the characteristic high-kneeling pose during standby. Included accessories feature a shape-adjustable rope part, allowing for the recreation of the arm-mounted claw's firing state.
