The last time I worked on a Millennium Godzilla was around late August last year. Recently, I came across a beautifully priced Kuro Ryu Kobo (黒龍工房) kit, and in order to complement the officially revealed Millennium Burning Godzilla, I purchased it and used my free time to complete the Shinjuku Burning style.

As always, the kit maintains an exceptionally high standard of quality. The part separation design and assembly fit made the production process relatively smooth. I am very fond of this Millennium Godzilla's sculpt; the pose design and closed-mouth expression naturally exude an aura of quiet power. The dorsal fins are dense and sharply pointed, and the skin texture is both three-dimensional and intricate. The painting references the color scheme from the Shinjuku Burning YouTube video, with the eyes painted in the Millennium Godzilla style but adapted to a Burning Godzilla color scheme.

The fiery red patterns on the body, influenced by the overall sharp aesthetic of the sculpt, were gradually adjusted during the painting process to an outward, sharp style. The overall flame texture maintains a high-saturation paint finish, with multiple layers of transparent paints applied via airbrush and brush to create depth. The skin tone is also slightly darker compared to the original color Millennium Godzilla I made last time, achieving more layers and a slightly increased dusty feel through multiple dry-brushing and washing techniques. This kit should be the last one completed by the end of 2025. I hope everyone likes it!
