KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model kit manufacturer, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced a new product in their everyday-life bishoujo plastic model kit series, 『Sousai Shojo Teien』: "Kisaragi YUE [Diva Outfit] Dreaming Style Strawberry Moon Ver.", scheduled for May 2026. This product will be exclusively sold at KOTOBUKIYA SHOP and other official designated retailers.
The new character, "Kisaragi YUE," is a third-year student at St. Alice Girls' Academy High School. She was born with a frail constitution, and after undergoing a major surgery two years ago, she was hospitalized for a long period for rehabilitation, which means she is now a 20-year-old adult. During her hospitalization, she happened to hear the singing voice of genius composer NARUSE TAKUTO online. This inspired her, having narrowly escaped death, to seize the moment and do everything she wanted to do, leading her to begin entertainment activities as the diva 'YUE' (Moon). For various reasons, she leads a school life while hiding her identity, deliberately making her appearance inconspicuous and pretending to be a sickly girl to avoid wasting too much time at school.
"Kisaragi YUE [Diva Outfit] Dreaming Style Strawberry Moon Ver." is a modified version based on the standard edition kit. The hair parts' molding color has been changed to blonde, and the entire outfit's parts have also been changed to a sweet color scheme reminiscent of a strawberry shortcake. It uses a rich variety of molding colors, including KOTOBUKIYA's standard skin color A, white, metallic red, clear orange, and clear red with silver glitter, to present a cute and gorgeous Gothic Lolita-style performance outfit.
The entire body and outfit adopt articulation specifications specialized for dance performances. It features flexible articulation designs such as pull-out shoulder joints, neck joints that can swing front, back, left, and right, and double-jointed knees. It also includes various newly sculpted hand parts to match different dance poses. Even the hair is intricately divided into movable sections like back hair, side hair, and twin tails, allowing it to avoid interference with the body and outfit's articulation and delicately expressing dynamic dance poses and the details of hair movement.
In addition, the head can be combined with four pre-painted face parts: "Final Boss Face," "Fan Service Face," "Passionate Singing Face," and "Focused Face," as well as four types of bangs: "Bangs with Hat," "Bangs with Stage Intercom," "Bangs for Glasses," and "Bangs without Accessories."
