Aniplex Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Atsuhiro Iwakami; hereinafter "Aniplex") has announced that "Resident Evil Survival Unit," a new strategy game for smartphones co-developed with JOYCITY Corporation (Headquarters: Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; CEO: Cho Seong-won; hereinafter "JOYCITY"), will be featured at the Taipei Game Show 2026, held from January 29 (Thurs) to February 1 (Sun), 2026.
Based on Capcom's popular "Resident Evil" series, this title offers a new perspective on the series' world through a strategy game system optimized for smartphones. It combines the convenience unique to mobile devices with the deep gameplay of a strategy game, allowing players to connect with others worldwide in real-time for a brand-new survival strategy experience set on the stage of the "Resident Evil" universe. The game officially launched in 151 countries and regions on November 18, 2025 (Tues), with service in the Taiwan region scheduled to begin in early 2026.
At this year's Taipei Game Show 2026, we have prepared a hands-on demo area and a photo zone to give players in Taiwan an early opportunity to experience the game's appeal firsthand.

① First-Ever Public Demo (Taiwan Region)
At the event venue, players can personally experience the introductory content of "Resident Evil Survival Unit." All participants in the demo will receive an original commemorative gift. Please note that supplies are limited and will be given out while they last.
② Photo Zone with Popular Characters
The booth will feature standees of popular characters from "Resident Evil Survival Unit," including Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and the Commander, allowing fans to take memorable photos with their favorites.
