Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey, who has faced multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment since 2017, has seen the vast majority of lawsuits against him dismissed or result in not-guilty verdicts. While not all legal battles are concluded, Spacey's reputation has been severely damaged, making a return to Hollywood—which blacklisted him eight years ago—highly improbable. As a result, his acting career has largely shifted to the European film circuit in recent years. Spacey himself appears to have accepted this reality, stating he has no desire to collaborate with those who initially distanced themselves from him.

During an interview at the Italian Global TV Festival, Spacey first expressed gratitude to those who believed in his innocence throughout the ordeal. "I am deeply grateful to those in the industry who supported me, to those who were willing to wait for the court's judgment before deciding how to evaluate me," he said. "I trust those people, and I will strive to live up to their trust for the rest of my life." Spacey then added, "As for those who jumped to conclusions, deemed me guilty, and treated me as a criminal, I forgive them, but I will not actively seek to work with them again."
