Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division is releasing a new product with a "Pretty Cure" theme — the "Pretty Cure Gyu-cot Character Figure" Gashapon, with a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per turn, expected to launch in the third week of January 2026!
The Pretty Cure series (プリキュアシリーズ) is a Japanese transforming hero anime series that began airing in 2004, and has seen 21 generations of works over 20 years since its debut. Each generation of Pretty Cure also releases various transformation item merchandise used by the characters in the series.
The Gyu-cot series (tentative translation: ぎゅーこっと) features characters reinterpreted in a chibi proportion at a small size, and holding even smaller, cute dolls! This "Pretty Cure Gyu-cot Character Figure" is based on "Pretty Cure Max Heart," the sequel to the original Pretty Cure, and features three types: Cure Black & Mepple, Cure White & Mipple, and Shiny Luminous & Pollun. Reproducing the elaborate details of their costumes in an approximately two-head-tall proportion, the fairies transformed into dolls are even simpler and cuter, and their appearance cradled in the angels' arms is irresistible!
