The number of toy reports released this year has finally seen some recovery! From a peak of over seven hundred toy reports a year, it dropped to just over a hundred the year before last... This year, there are over four hundred, big and small, which is finally something to show for.
Since the back hill was closed off and barbed wire was installed, my interest in outdoor photography has completely vanished... Fortunately, my passion for toys remains fervent... The number of toys I acquire hasn't actually decreased, as evidenced by my breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night snack photos! However, photography requires the right timing, location, and mood (personal state)... Thankfully, larger toys can now be taken back to Zhongshan for shooting. Situations where toys were too big to photograph, or I lacked time to write reports, have not been seen since last year!
This year, domestic model toys occupy more spots in the Top 10 Best Buys. No other reason than that, besides Bandai's (yes! specifically Bandai) products showing a lack of innovation, domestic model IPs have launched many high-quality products under their own brands. They are affordable, meticulously crafted, and their quality control is no worse than Bandai's. Therefore, it is believed that domestic brands will only become increasingly prosperous in the toy market going forward. If established brands merely rest on their laurels and fail to innovate, it is believed that market trends will change rapidly in the short term!
In 2025, my toy soul is fully ignited! Previously, working 11 hours a day, and having to reply to work WhatsApp messages and emails after work/on holidays, truly occupied most of my life. Making a living was genuinely tough... But now, slowing down, gathering my thoughts, and looking at the surrounding natural scenery, it's completely different from my previous life of self-conflict and illness! Life! You only get one! As you read this article, take a moment to reflect on what you are truly living for in this world?
