Megahouse, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the latest products in its "G.M.G. (Gundam Military Generation)" series of articulated soldier figures from "Mobile Suit Gundam": "G.M.G. COLLECTION 13 Principality of Zeon Black Tri-Stars Gaia Pilot Suit Ver.", "G.M.G. COLLECTION 14 Principality of Zeon Black Tri-Stars Ortega Pilot Suit Ver.", and "G.M.G. COLLECTION 15 Principality of Zeon Black Tri-Stars Mash Pilot Suit Ver.", all scheduled for release in July 2026.
The "Black Tri-Stars," composed of three Zeon ace pilots—Gaia, Mash, and Ortega—were a special forces unit under Kycilia Zabi. In the main story of "Mobile Suit Gundam," they piloted the MS-09 Dom and used their spectacular "Jet Stream Attack" against the RX-78-2 Gundam. However, they were no match for its performance and the protagonist power of pilot Amuro, and died on the battlefield. But these "Trinity" members were not so useless; even before the One Year War broke out, their abilities were highly regarded in the military. Later, they captured Earth Federation Forces Commander-in-Chief "General Revil" during the Battle of Loum, becoming famous overnight.
▼ Gaia
The three products "Gaia, Mash, and Ortega," announced simultaneously, feature an articulated specification with a height of approximately 10 cm. They depict the Black Tri-Stars wearing their Principality of Zeon pilot suits. Although the three wear identical pilot suits, each part faithfully reproduces the differences in their body shapes. The rich articulation divisions and flexible joint designs provide an excellent range of motion.
▼ Ortega
Each figure comes with three pairs of interchangeable hand parts, one face part for wearing a helmet, and one face part without a helmet. The expressions showcase the individual personalities of the three. By swapping parts, you can recreate poses where the head has only the visor open, the helmet completely removed, or holding the helmet.
▼ Mash
In addition, Megahouse also simultaneously released a bundled set of the three products, "Intercept! Jet Stream Attack." In addition to all the contents of the three aforementioned products, it also includes an "astonished expression" interchangeable part for Gaia when he was used as a stepping stone by the Gundam, a soldier's "Giant Bazooka" with a design similar to the Dom's weapon, and "crossed-arms interchangeable parts" to display the trio's imposing presence.
