Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated "Avengers: Doomsday" has yet to officially hit theaters, but its latest teaser trailer has once again leaked online, sparking fervent discussion among fans.
Dubbed the "fourth" leaked trailer, it not only highlights the return of Wakandan forces but also, for the first time, reveals an unexpected encounter between Wakanda and the Fantastic Four, dropping a bombshell on the narrative direction.

According to the leaked footage, the trailer opens with Shuri's monologue, where she somberly mentions losing everyone important in her life, clearly echoing her traumatic experiences in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever."
As the scene shifts to Namor, Shuri continues, "A king has his duties, to prepare his people for the afterlife, and I have my mission." This dialogue is being interpreted as Wakanda facing a major war that could shake the world order, with speculation pointing to Doctor Doom, possibly portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., as the mastermind.

Following the somber atmosphere, the trailer abruptly shifts to a humorous scene, featuring Ben Grimm, The Thing, in his full Fantastic Four suit, encountering Wakandan King M'Baku.
M'Baku introduces himself, "I am M'Baku, King of Wakanda." Ben responds in a remarkably casual manner, "Ben, Yancy Street, between Broome and Grand." These brief lines successfully create a sense of cultural clash and character charm, also confirming for fans that Wakanda and the Fantastic Four will indeed share the screen in this film.
The trailer concludes with a title card declaring, "The Wakandans and the Fantastic Four return in 'Avengers: Doomsday'." This line immediately raises a series of questions, including when and where this meeting takes place, whether Ben Grimm is acting alone, and how the Fantastic Four officially enter the main MCU universe. All these clues seem to point to Doctor Doom as the key figure connecting the multiverse.
Looking back at previous setups, Marvel had already hinted at the Fantastic Four's impending arrival as early as "Thunderbolts*", which featured a cross-dimensional spaceship bearing the team's insignia. Furthermore, the post-credits scene of "The Fantastic Four," where Doctor Doom allegedly abducts Franklin Richards, is considered a crucial foreshadowing for "Doomsday."
Notably, the "Doomsday" trailer series has so far followed a consistent pattern: first leaking online, then premiering in theaters, and finally officially releasing digitally. Previously released trailers have already unveiled key footage of Captain America, Thor, and the X-Men, creating an "all-hands-on-deck" apocalyptic atmosphere across the entire MCU.
"Avengers: Doomsday" is currently slated for a December 18, 2026 release.
