Walt Disney Pictures has officially announced the lead cast for its highly anticipated live-action "Tangled" film. Teagan Croft, the rising star known for her role as Raven in the DC series "Titans," has been confirmed to take on the iconic role of Rapunzel. Meanwhile, Disney Channel's "Zombies" franchise lead, Milo Manheim, will portray the charming rogue Flynn Rider.

Michael Gracey, the Australian director behind "The Greatest Showman," is helming the live-action "Tangled." Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, known for directing Netflix's teen comedy "Do Revenge" and co-writing "Thor: Love and Thunder," is penning the script. A release date for the film has not yet been announced. The Hollywood Reporter (THR) initially broke the casting news, which Disney later officially confirmed.
