World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has unveiled a new product based on the DC Comics-adapted game "Batman: Arkham Origins" – the "Batman" 1/6 scale collectible figure. It has a suggested retail price of US$300 and is expected to be released in September 2027!
Released in 2013, "Batman: Arkham Origins" is set five years before the main series. The story depicts a nascent Batman facing a bounty placed by Black Mask, attracting eight top assassins on Christmas Eve. Under pursuit by the police and ambushed by formidable foes like Joker and Bane, players can control Batman to fight in an open world, witnessing his journey to gradually become Gotham's dark symbol.
This Batman 1/6 scale collectible figure stands approximately 32.5 cm tall. The costume is crafted from multiple materials, with full body armor in a grey and black color scheme covering a tight inner suit. Combined with a robust body, it faithfully recreates the game's heavy yet practical Batsuit design. The fabric cape has wires embedded in the sides, allowing for dynamic, flowing poses as desired! The head sculpt features a newly developed masked head by the team and comes with two interchangeable lower face sculpts to display contemplative and gritted-teeth determined expressions!
Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands, a pair of Electrocutioner Gauntlets with blue electric current effects, smoke bombs, a grapple gun, a disruptor, an ultrasonic Batarang, Batarangs, a remote-controlled Claw, and explosive gel, among other weapons. These can be combined with the figure's approximately 30 points of articulation and a specially designed display base to recreate various scenes from the game!
