World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys recently announced its latest product from the 1984 action-adventure film *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom*: the "Indiana Jones" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Both the Regular Version and the Deluxe Version will be released simultaneously. This article will provide product information for the "Deluxe Version," which has a suggested retail price of HKD 2,230 and is estimated to ship in Q1-Q2 2027.
This "Indiana Jones" figure, based on the second installment of the Indiana Jones series, *Temple of Doom*, stands approximately 30 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. The production team has not only faithfully recreated actor Harrison Ford's youthful facial contours and handsome demeanor, but also meticulously reproduced the facial scar from the film. With movable eyeballs, a variety of expressions can be achieved. Significant effort was also put into the costume, especially the khaki shirt, which features a torn left sleeve and multiple tears on the back. Collectors can even remove the entire shirt to reveal the impressive muscular upper body crafted with seamless technology, recreating Indy's shirtless combat scenes!
In addition to all the accessories included in the Regular Version, the Deluxe Version also comes with a diorama display base themed after the Temple of Doom. It not only features a striking skull sculpt and incorporates suspension bridge elements, but also boasts highly detailed natural weathering marks on the rock surface and reddish-brown paint reminiscent of the lava altar. What's more, you can place the Sankara Stones into the skull, allowing you to relive Dr. Jones' thrilling adventures.
