Max Factory, a popular action figure series from Japan, has announced the latest product from artist Nadare Takamine's original work "BUNNY SUIT PLANNING," the "Sophia F. Shirring Update Ver.," scheduled for release in September 2026.
"BUNNY SUIT PLANNING" is an original art book released by artist Nadare Takamine in 2020, featuring numerous illustrations of the blonde, large-breasted bishōjo character "Sophia F. Shirring," created since 2019. It combines mecha-girl aesthetics with sexy, cute, and cool bunny suit swimwear, courier, and battle nun outfits, offering a feast for the eyes. Subsequently, characters like "Veronica Sweetheart" and "Amamo Mami" have also been released. Since 2022, multiple figma "BUNNY SUIT PLANNING" products have been launched, receiving high praise not only for their excellent articulation but also for their abundant accessories, high-quality color application, and decal printing.
The "figma Sophia F. Shirring Update Ver." is a revision of the previously released first edition. It features upgraded face printing for four expression parts: "smiling face," "smug face," "anxious face," and "closed-eye smiling face." Utilizing the latest printing technology, it significantly restores the vibrant eye colors and cheek blush from the original design. Additionally, the original yellowish skin tone has been replaced with a brighter white color, further enhancing the cuteness of her features and makeup.
Other design aspects are largely the same as the first edition. The body meticulously recreates her extremely voluptuous figure and bunny suit-style armament using precise parts. Delicate color application and transfer printing reproduce the various colors and text patterns, with some parts rendered in clear aqua blue to evoke a full summer vibe. The main body stands approximately 17 cm tall, giving it a more substantial presence compared to typical figma bishōjo characters. Each joint utilizes original figma joint parts, offering a flexible range of motion and firm articulation.
The armament also includes a rich array of items such as "bangs with goggles," "shield board," "long water gun spear," "handheld water gun," and "spear extension parts ×3." The sections of the long water gun spear can be freely detached, allowing for the creation of original weapons using the spear extension parts. The shield board can also be used as a surfboard, enabling various cool and sexy poses!
