KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced that the latest product in its "Arcanadea" series of beautiful girl plastic model kits, which blends fantasy and sci-fi elements, will be released in May 2026. The new product is "Tidal Orcate" from the spin-off series "XenoAlma".
The "XenoAlma" series features fantasy creature plastic model kits based on various animals, showcasing the world of "Arcanadea". The kits utilize abundant clear parts to express a fantasy style and cleverly combine biological forms with armament designs. In addition to being displayed and played with individually in "Monster Mode," they can also link with "Arcanadea" DEARS characters, transforming into "Armed Mode" to become expanded weapons and armor for DEARS.
"XenoAlma Tidal Orcate" uses silver, black, and clear purple molded parts to reproduce its alien body, which features numerous purple tentacles and resembles an ancient marine creature. It boasts a large size of approximately 34.5 cm in length and sharp, barbed tentacles. The accessories also include a set of colorless clear parts, allowing for custom painting and replacement of the clear purple parts throughout the body. Each part uses 3mm joint parts of a common standard, offering both flexible articulation and interchangeability. It can also separate into two XenoAlma: "Trickle Decapodia" and "Hydro Zeeforce".
The product's color scheme is specially designed to match the separately sold water-attribute "Velletta". All parts can be detached and reassembled into various armaments for Lumitea, including a head crown, head fins, shoulder and thigh armor, leg armor, wing units, a sword, a tail, tentacles, and the shooting weapon "Tidal Harpoon," greatly expanding playability.
Thanks to the common standard 3mm joint parts, the kit can interchange parts with separately sold Kotobukiya plastic models such as 'M.S.G', 'Frame Arms Girl', 'Frame Arms', 'Hexa Gear', 'Sousai Shojo Teien', and 'Infinity Encounter', allowing players to freely unleash their creativity and assemble various original forms.
