KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced that the latest product in its branch series "XenoAlma", the "Explode Volcarion", from the beautiful girl plastic model kit series "ARCANADEA", which blends fantasy and sci-fi elements, is scheduled for release in April 2026.
The "XenoAlma" series features fantasy creature model kits based on various animals, showcasing the world of "ARCANADEA". The kits utilize abundant clear parts to express a fantasy aesthetic, cleverly combining biological forms with armed designs. In addition to being displayed and played with individually in "Monster Mode", they can also link with "ARCANADEA" DEARS characters, transforming into "Armed Mode" to become expanded weapons and armor for the DEARS.
The "XenoAlma Explode Volcarion" recreates the beast's body, wreathed in purple flames, using molded parts in silver, black, and clear purple. It boasts a large size of approximately 28 cm in length and a cool, sharp silhouette. The accessories also include a set of colorless clear parts, allowing for custom painting and replacement of the clear purple parts throughout the body. Each part uses standard 3mm joint connections, offering both flexible articulation and part interchangeability. It can also separate into two XenoAlma: "Blaze Stral" and "Blaze Orpheus".
The product's color scheme is specially designed to complement the separately sold dark-attribute "Lumitea ReACT-A". When disassembled, its body parts can become various armaments for Lumitea, including feather ornaments for the sides of her head, shoulder armor, leg armor, backpack unit, scimitar, flame straight sword, great bow, crossbow, long sword, and more, greatly expanding playability.
Utilizing standard 3mm joint connections, the kit's parts are interchangeable with separately sold Kotobukiya model kits such as "M.S.G", "Frame Arms Girl", "Frame Arms", "Hexa Gear", "Sousai Shojo Teien", and "Infinity Encounter", allowing players to freely unleash their creativity and assemble various original forms.
