Japanese animation studio MADHOUSE and renowned statue production company Design COCO are collaborating to release the latest product based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End": the "Frieren – Art Nouveau Style –" 1/7 scale figure! The suggested retail price is 31,350 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2027!
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)", originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren. She returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren then embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The MADHOUSE × Design COCO "Frieren – Art Nouveau Style –" 1/7 scale figure measures approximately 24 cm in height. The prototype was handled by Design COCO and supervised by animation studio Madhouse. Based on the art illustration drawn by artist Ayaka Minoshima, it infuses the Art Nouveau style of artist Alphonse Mucha into modern popular manga, showcasing Frieren's elegant demeanor. Dressed in a pure white long gown, Frieren exudes a charming, delicate, and serene aura. Her flowing hair and every detail are meticulously sculpted, presenting a goddess-like exquisite quality. The subtle color palette outlines the tranquil beauty deep within her soul.
▼Purchasing the joint set with "Himmel – Art Nouveau Style –" at the COCO Store will grant a bonus interchangeable open-eyed face part, allowing for a different atmosphere.
