BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product in its "MINIPLA" assembly model candy toy series, the "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity First Kit," based on Toei's tokusatsu series *Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity*, scheduled for release in February 2026.
Following the *Super Sentai* series and set to officially air in Japan on February 15, 2026, the Super Dimensional Hero Saga *Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity* is a remake based on some settings from the 1982 Toei tokusatsu *Space Sheriff Gavan*. The story's main stage is set across various Earths in the multiverse, where each universe has an organization dedicated to protecting cosmic peace, the "Galactic Federal Police," and a "Gavan" with powerful abilities. The protagonist, Reiji Nujou, is the transformer of "Gavan Infinity." Possessing the unique ability to traverse dimensions, he can travel to Earths in various universes, collaborating with the Gavan and police of those worlds to apprehend criminals and forge deep friendships.
In this work's setting, the transformation devices used by the Gavans also serve as weapons, spaceships, and giant robots formed from transforming spaceships, with diverse armament variations depending on Gavan's preferred fighting style. The new product, "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity First Kit," includes the transformation weapons used by the three Gavan protagonists: "Gavan Infinity," "Gavan Bushido," and "Gavan Brilliance," as well as the universal core unit "Cosmo Gavarion GC-R," which functions as both a spaceship and robot mode, totaling 4 types.
As the "First Kit" product design prioritizes an entry-level toy that children can easily complete, the robot "Cosmo Gavarion GC-R" in this product features a significantly reduced number of stickers and simplified part shapes compared to previous products in the same series. Once assembled, it stands approximately 8 cm tall and only has horizontal rotation articulation at the shoulders and hips. A more advanced version with enhanced sculpting and articulation is included in the separately sold "MINIPLA *Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity* Set 01."
The "Gavarion Trigger" used by Gavan Infinity measures approximately 7.5 cm in length. Its overall design already incorporates the "Cosmo Gavarion GC-R" and can transform into a transformation weapon mode and a spaceship mode, thus complementing the missing transformation mechanism mentioned above.
Meanwhile, the "Gavarion Drill" used by Gavan Brilliance measures approximately 9 cm in length, and the "Gavarion Saber" used by Gavan Bushido measures approximately 15 cm in length, making them noticeably larger than the previous two items. Besides being able to transform independently into weapon mode and unit mode, these two are also armament parts designed to link with the Cosmo Gavarion GC-R included in the "MINIPLA *Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity* Set 01."
