BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan (candy toy) division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from its 'MINIPLA' assembly model Shokugan series, "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity 01 Cosmo Gavarion GC-R & Gavarion Crane & Gavarion Laser," based on Toei's tokusatsu series "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity," slated for release in March 2026.
The hyper-dimensional hero saga "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is a remake based on some settings from the 1982 Toei tokusatsu series "Space Sheriff Gavan." The story is set across various Earths in a multiverse, where each universe has an organization called the "Galactic Federal Police" dedicated to protecting cosmic peace, and a "Gavan" possessing immense power. The protagonist, Reiji Danjo, is the transformer of "Gavan Infinity." With his unique ability to traverse dimensions, he can travel to different Earths across the multiverse, collaborating with the local Gavans and police to apprehend criminals and forge deep friendships.
In this series' setting, the transformation devices used by the Gavans also serve as weapons, spaceships, and giant robots formed from transforming spaceships. They feature diverse weapon variations depending on each Gavan's preferred combat style. This product includes the universal core unit for both spaceship and robot modes, "Cosmo Gavarion GC-R," along with two transformation weapons: "Gavarion Crane" and "Gavarion Laser."
Compared to the version included in the "First Kit," the "Cosmo Gavarion GC-R" boasts more detailed part sculpting and increased articulation. By collecting all four sets of parts (A, B, C, D), the entire unit can be completed, featuring a transformation mechanism that recreates its three forms: the transformation weapon "Gavarion Trigger," spaceship, and robot. It can also combine with various weapon parts released in this series.
"Gavarion Crane" & "Gavarion Laser"
In addition to transforming into weapon mode and unit mode individually, both models also come with corresponding head, right chest armor, and emotion battery parts. These can be combined and swapped with the "Cosmo Gavarion GC-R" to recreate various forms such as transformation weapons, spaceships, and robots equipped with different armaments. Furthermore, the "Gavarion Drill" & "Gavarion Saber" included in the "First Kit" are also compatible with this combination play style.
