BANPRESTO, the prize figure division of BANDAI SPIRITS Japan, is set to release the latest additions to its substantial "MAXIMATIC" series, featuring the popular anime and manga *Frieren: Beyond Journey's End*. The new products, "MAXIMATIC Frieren II, Himmel," will be sold as prize figures and are scheduled for release in March 2026.
*Frieren: Beyond Journey's End* (葬送のフリーレン), a Japanese manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who, along with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter, returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the passing and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. To experience the meaning of life and time, Frieren embarks on a new journey.
Making a reappearance, BANPRESTO's "MAXIMATIC Frieren II" is now fighting alongside "MAXIMATIC Himmel"! Measuring 20 cm and 25 cm respectively, the hero Himmel coolly wields his sword, his cape fluttering with his movement, creating an impressive sense of dynamism. Frieren's elegant pose is also very lively, featuring translucent twin tails, and the gold trim and other paintwork on her outfit are also well-executed. They are excellent whether displayed individually or fighting side-by-side!
