SQUARE ENIX of Japan has announced the latest addition to their plastic model kit series, 'STRUCTURE ARTS', featuring 'Sephiroth' from their popular video game 'FINAL FANTASY VII', scheduled for release on May 30, 2026.

The highly popular and charismatic villain Sephiroth from 'FINAL FANTASY VII' was once the strongest member of the Shinra elite private military unit 'SOLDIER,' holding the highest rank of '1st Class.' He possessed strong elite qualities, a calm, brave, and responsible personality, and was very caring towards his subordinates, earning him widespread admiration. However, during the 'Nibelheim Incident' that occurred five years before the main story began, Sephiroth learned about his origins, the Ancients, meteorites, and other vast knowledge of the planet from the Lifestream. He then secretly began preparing to cast the ultimate destructive magic, 'Meteor,' to strike the planet, intending to merge with the overflowing Lifestream as the planet attempted to heal itself, thereby becoming a 'god-like' entity.

The 'STRUCTURE ARTS Sephiroth' is based on the design drawn by designer Tetsuya Nomura at the time of the 1997 PS version's release. The kit uses five different molded color parts to assemble an articulated figure approximately 16 cm tall and includes three pre-printed face parts for interchangeability, faithfully reproducing the cool, handsome, and imposing final boss image as envisioned by Tetsuya Nomura.

The model features articulated divisions in the neck, waist, and limbs that do not compromise the original complete sculpt. The base of the long hair and the lower halves of both sides of the coat also have articulation mechanisms, expanding the range of motion for the head and legs. Coupled with accessories such as his cool long sword weapon 'Masamune' and 8 interchangeable hand parts, various dynamic battle poses can be recreated.
