World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has officially unveiled three new themed products from the popular animated film "K-Pop: Demon Hunters"—Rumi, Mila, and Zoe! This article will first introduce the "Rumi" 1/6th scale collectible figure, with a suggested retail price of US$280 and an estimated release date of September 2027!
Rumi is the lead singer of HUNTR/X. Her deceased mother was a member of the previous generation girl group, Sunshine Sisters, and her father is a demon. Because of this, she has markings similar to demons on her body, which makes her feel insecure and fearful, and she dares not let her two closest group members know. To escape her demon identity, she yearns more than anyone to seal the Soul Gate and live a normal life.
This Rumi 1/6th scale collectible figure stands approximately 28 cm tall. The newly developed head sculpt meticulously recreates her animated appearance, and the eyeballs feature an articulation mechanism for vivid adjustment of her gaze. Paired with interchangeable smiling and singing face sculpts, a wide range of expressions can be displayed! Her signature long purple braided hairstyle is made of soft plastic with an embedded bendable metal wire, allowing for free adjustment into various dynamic poses as desired!
The body also features a newly developed seamless body, crafted with silicone material and an internal metal skeleton for seamless arm and leg joints. The muscular definition of the arms is meticulously reproduced even when bent. Details such as the rings on her hands and nail art further elevate the already exquisite craftsmanship! Her costume, tailored from mixed media, recreates Rumi's bright yellow cropped biker jacket and high-waisted shorts worn during her performance of "How It's Done" in the opening sequence. Stylistic details like the black studded shoulder pad on her left shoulder, white stand-collar cropped top, metal necklace, and platform boots are also meticulously reproduced!
In addition to interchangeable face sculpts, accessories include multiple sets of interchangeable hands, a Four-Yin Sword with a translucent blade, a microphone, a smartphone, cup noodles, a HUNTR/X light stick, a vertical autographed poster, a horizontal poster, a character backdrop, and a specially designed stage-themed display stand. These can be displayed with the simultaneously released Mila and Zoe figures to recreate the powerful charm of HUNTR/X!
