Japanese high-quality collectible statue brand Prime 1 Studio has officially announced the latest product from the popular light novel series *Spice and Wolf*, the **"CONCEPT MASTERLINE Holo 1/5 Scale Statue,"** slated for release in September 2027.
Holo, the protagonist of the story, is a deity of fertility who has existed for centuries in the northern Yoitsu region. Calling herself the "Wise Wolf," she can inhabit wheat grains, manipulating the weather to make farmers' crops grow instantly. When she transforms into her human form, she appears as a youthful girl in her early teens, retaining her pointed wolf ears and fluffy tail. However, her calm and seasoned experience, wisdom, and insight, cultivated over centuries, remain undiminished. She often teases while simultaneously helping the male protagonist, Lawrence, navigate various troubles.
The **"CONCEPT MASTERLINE Holo"** is crafted in a 1/5 scale, standing approximately 40 cm tall, allowing for clear and intricate detailing throughout. The sculpt depicts Holo in a simple, grayish-white robe, reminiscent of a goddess, holding her beloved apple on a stone table. Her facial features largely retain the style of the original novel's illustrator, Jyuu Ayakura, conveying a slightly melancholic expression that speaks to Holo's longevity and transcendent nature.
Her hair and tail are crafted using transparent parts with gradient painting, creating a light and translucent effect, while meticulously shaping the smooth flow of her hair and the fluffy texture of her tail. The robe not only features woven linen patterns but also conveys the soft and light texture of the fabric through details like the apple pressing against it and the drape from the table. The massive base resembles an altar, featuring a curved wheat stalk statue. Its intricate ethnic-style artistic carvings, stone texture, and weathered appearance, including some cracks and stains, echo the centuries Holo spent in the wheat fields.
Additionally, Prime 1 Studio is simultaneously releasing a "BONUS Version," available exclusively through select retailers. This version includes an interchangeable head part with a different expression, allowing Holo to display a beautiful smile full of affection and joy, in contrast to the regular edition.
