Japan's MEDICOS toy company's highly popular "Super Action Statue series" will release its latest product based on "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run": "Super Action Statue Slow Dancer". It will have a suggested retail price of 15,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2026.
Slow Dancer is the beloved horse of Johnny Joestar, the protagonist of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run". An Appaloosa, it was initially ill-tempered and difficult to handle due to old age, with Johnny almost being trampled to death the first time he tried to saddle it. However, compared to younger horses, it possesses extensive experience and excellent stamina. It built trust and a strong bond with Johnny, playing a crucial and vital role in the cross-America SBR race.
The "Super Action Statue Slow Dancer" articulated horse figure measures approximately 20 cm in height and 30 cm in length, delicately capturing the horse's characteristics. From its torso to its legs, the textures of its muscles and skin are brought to life through intricate sculpting and painting. Its light-colored coat and mane, along with the dark spots on its hindquarters and back, are faithfully reproduced. In addition to its four limbs, articulated joints are also present in its tail, ears, and more, allowing for dynamic and lively poses!
The accessory parts include multiple hand gesture parts designed to complement the "Super Action Statue Johnny Joestar" (sold separately), effect parts to recreate the drill-like spinning attack of the Stand "Tusk ACT2", and dedicated parts that allow Johnny to sit astride Slow Dancer and hold the reins, recreating vivid scenes of them galloping and speeding together.
The MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP purchase bonus is a "Johnny Joestar interchangeable head sculpt" part! This recreates Johnny's "Dark Will."
