BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, under its S.H.MonsterArts articulated figure brand, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, is releasing a new product based on the movie *Shin Godzilla*: the "Godzilla (2016) 2nd Form & 3rd Form & Giant Unidentified Organism" articulated figure set. Priced at 15,400 JPY, it is scheduled for release in August 2026!
Directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, *Shin Godzilla* is the 31st film in the Godzilla series, featuring its own independent worldview. Similar to the original 1954 Godzilla, it depicts the first appearance and landing of the "Giant Unidentified Organism" Godzilla in Japan. The film achieved a global box office success of 78 million USD, making it the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film of 2016!
This S.H.MonsterArts "Godzilla (2016) 2nd Form & 3rd Form & Giant Unidentified Organism" articulated figure set includes Godzilla's three forms before maturing into its complete state as seen in the film. The "Giant Unidentified Organism" makes its S.H.MonsterArts debut, standing approximately 16 cm tall. It faithfully recreates its initial appearance before the public, with transparent water splash parts at the base to convey the translucent texture of real ocean water. Partial red paintwork reproduces the scene where the seawater is stained red upon its emergence, and each segment of its tail features articulation, allowing for perfect recreation of its smooth movements from the film!
The 2nd Form, Kamata-kun, and 3rd Form, Shinagawa-kun, reuse the molds from the 2017 versions. Kamata-kun stands approximately 5 cm tall, with sculpting that meticulously recreates its highly organic details. Its articulation allows for serpentine crawling poses, and the paintwork has been adjusted to a more saturated color scheme, closer to its on-screen appearance! Shinagawa-kun stands approximately 13 cm tall, with its paintwork adjusted to a red and black coloration. Its original articulation allows for dynamic poses such as roaring or escaping from pursuit by Self-Defense Force fighter jets!
This set can also be displayed alongside the "Godzilla 4th Form Awakening Ver.," which previously reappeared in the "-Movie Graphic Plus-" series, to fully showcase the immense appeal of Shin Godzilla!
