Japanese company PLEX (株式会社プレックス) has launched a new series, "Digimon Real Data Collection," based on the classic popular monster-raising game, *Digimon*. The first product in this series, the "Tyrannomon" (ティラノモン) pre-painted figure, has been unveiled. It is priced at 15,400 JPY and is expected to be released in May 2026!
The "Digimon Real Data Collection" (デジモン リアルデータコレクション) is a new model series conceptualized around transforming Digimon data into tangible, three-dimensional forms. It aims to precisely capture the distinctive features of each Digimon, showcasing a powerful and impactful presence. Kicking off this new series is Tyrannomon, featured on the packaging cover of the original 1997 *Digimon* virtual pet Ver.1, making it arguably the most iconic basic Digimon!
This Tyrannomon pre-painted figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and is crafted from PVC. Based on its illustration, the sculpting meticulously recreates Tyrannomon's muscle lines, sharp claws, dorsal fins, and teeth, among other intricate details. The subtle undulations and texture of its skin are exquisitely reproduced. The paint application translates the sharp shadow lines into three-dimensional details, with varying gloss and matte finishes applied to different parts like the mouth and skin, perfectly bringing the illustrated image to life in three dimensions!
