The highly anticipated sequel, "The Devil Wears Prada 2," which has global fans clamoring, is set to hit theaters worldwide starting in late April this year. This morning also saw the release of its second trailer and several character posters (pictured below).
The second installment's plot centers on Miranda and Emily. Miranda's career is currently in a slump, facing the decline of the traditional publishing industry. She is forced to seek help from her former employee, Emily, who is now a high-level executive at a luxury brand. Miranda desperately needs advertising funds from Emily's company. The film is scheduled to premiere in North America on May 1.

This installment sees the return of director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, who penned the original film. The cast features returning stars Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Meryl Streep, alongside new additions Justin Theroux, Simone Ashley, Lady Gaga, B.J. Novak, Lucy Liu, and Kenneth Branagh, who plays Miranda's new husband.
