KOTOBUKIYA, the Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the latest product in its highly customizable model kit series "HEXA GEAR," the "MANAGARMR", slated for release in June 2026.
The name of the "MANAGARMR" is derived from Managarmr, the moon hound in Norse mythology. It features a mechanism that allows it to transform from "Beast Manifestation Mode" to "Humanoid Mode," achieving a complete transformation even with a Governor onboard. Both modes boast impressive styling and flexible articulation. In Humanoid Mode, it even possesses a third-arm-like tail unit, capable of mounting various weapons for dynamic attacks.
The "Beast Manifestation Mode," resembling a demonic wolf, measures approximately 33 cm in length. The Governor's cockpit is located on its back, and all parts are connected using common standard pegs, featuring multiple articulation points to allow for highly organic movements such as running and jumping. After a complete transformation requiring no part swapping, the "Humanoid Mode" stands approximately 18.5 cm tall and is equipped with two pistol-style Gatling guns, a dagger, magazines, and other weapon accessories, which can be held in both hands or mounted on its flexible tail.
The unit also features various mechanisms throughout its body. The thrusters mounted on its back can deploy into multiple configurations, the rollers on the rear of its calves can extend downwards, and the tip of its tail is equipped with an articulated mechanical claw, capable of grasping various objects when not carrying weapons. Most parts of the entire body utilize the "HEXA G-R.A.M" hexagonal connection parts, common to the HEXA GEAR series, allowing for free customization and interchangeability with other HEXA GEAR products sold separately.
