American toy manufacturer MEZCO TOYZ's highly popular 1/12 scale action figure series, "One:12 Collective," is launching a new Marvel Comics-themed product: the "Nightcrawler" 1/12 scale action figure. It has a suggested retail price of $116 USD and is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2026!
Nightcrawler first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1, published in 1975. His real name is Kurt Wagner, a fictional human mutant with the ability of teleportation. In the early 2000s, it was revealed that he was the illegitimate son of Azazel and Mystique. Later, in 2023, it was disclosed that he was actually the child of Mystique (who had transformed into a male) and her wife, Destiny.
This One:12 Collective Nightcrawler stands approximately 15.6 cm tall, meticulously crafted to replicate his classic comic book appearance. The sculpt faithfully reproduces the intricate details of his hair and facial features, while his iconic three-fingered hands and feet, along with his demonic tail, are also delicately recreated! The paint application uses a spray technique to give his blue skin rich layering, and his red and black X-Men uniform is tailored from composite fabric materials, high-quality recreating his look from the comics!
Accessories include three interchangeable head sculpts, three sets of interchangeable hands, three sets of interchangeable feet, three different styles of tail replacement parts, four weapon scimitars, and a light-up standing smoke effect piece. These can be combined with over 30 points of articulation throughout the body and a dedicated display stand to recreate his dynamic, teleporting combat poses!
