FLAME TOYS, the Hong Kong-based model manufacturer, has announced the latest product in its robot-themed die-cast action figure series, 'Kuro Kara Kuri,' featuring the 'Weissritter' from the video game 'Super Robot Wars OG,' slated for release in August 2026.
The PTX-007-03C Weissritter is a PT (Personal Trooper) designed for artillery combat, modified from the "Gespenst Mk-II Type T" within the ATX Project, known for its extreme machine designs. Piloted by Excellen Browning, it operates in tandem with Kyosuke Nanbu's "Alteisen," a PT designed for decisive close-quarters combat. The Weissritter is equipped with a Tesla Drive and features significantly lightened armor, making it the first PT capable of independent flight in humanoid form. While possessing excellent mobility, its durability and defense are extremely low, making it ideal for supporting the Alteisen from the rear with long-range armaments such as the "Rifle Lance."
The "Kuro Kara Kuri Weissritter" reinterprets the design in the style of Masami Obari from the anime, maintaining a similar physique but imbuing the armor surface with greater detail. It enhances detail density through techniques such as armor panel lines mimicking maintenance hatches and镂空 designs revealing internal mechanical structures. Furthermore, it utilizes bluish-white, grayish-blue, dark blue, and various metallic colors to convey the weapon's substantial texture.
However, on the official prototype images, the white armor part above the ankle shows unnatural and distorted groove designs with overly large part seams. We hope these will be adjusted for the final product.
The mobile frame of the unit is constructed with numerous die-cast parts, offering both joint strength and excellent articulation, allowing for dynamic kneeling poses. The "Tesla Drive" wings on the back feature an original model-specific deployment mechanism, allowing them to expand upwards and downwards to reveal internal clear parts. Furthermore, the unit's head incorporates an internal LED light-up gimmick.
For weaponry, it includes the "Rifle Lance," a twin-barreled long-range rifle capable of firing both beam and solid rounds. The model features an original barrel deployment mechanism to represent its long-range E-Mode, and the barrel can even be detached to form an original "Pistol Mode." Additionally, ordering the product through official designated channels such as WING HOBBY STORE will grant exclusive bonus items: "Plasma Sword & Blade Effect" and "Dedicated Weapon-Holding Hands."
