The highly anticipated upcoming "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" is set to bring back a host of MCU veterans while also recruiting a significant number of actors from 20th Century Fox's "X-Men" universe, including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and Rebecca Romijn as the original Mystique. While the lineup promises an exciting ensemble, not all "X-Men" cast members are confirmed to return, leading many fans to wonder about other potential comebacks from the franchise.

While promoting her new film "Crime 101," Halle Berry recently spoke with Screen Rant and was asked about reprising her role as Storm. She responded, "I'm sad that I won't be in 'The Kang Dynasty' this time, but there's still a chance later, and I would definitely say yes without hesitation." Berry confirmed her absence from "The Kang Dynasty" but did not rule out a future return, with the subsequent "Avengers: Secret Wars" being her most likely opportunity.

Berry was also pressed about "The Kang Dynasty" during a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Not only did she admit she wouldn't be in the film, but she also playfully urged the host to ask her "Crime 101" co-star, Chris Hemsworth (known for his role as Thor), why Storm wasn't joining the fight in "The Kang Dynasty."

The following day, Hemsworth, who appeared on "The Tonight Show" at a different time than Berry, was indeed asked for an explanation. He humorously replied, "Putting us in the same movie is the wrong formula. There would be too many storms in the film. My character, like hers, controls a bit of the weather, and Marvel felt we'd dilute each other's presence, and then we'd have to figure out who the strongest storm-wielder is... Oh, I don't know, maybe it's just a publicity stunt, maybe she actually is in it."
