Japan's Aniplex company, under its popular BUZZmod. (バズモッド) action figure series, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" – the "Tanjiro Kamado Ver.2" 1/12 scale action figure. It will retail for 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2026!
This BUZZmod. Tanjiro Kamado Ver.2 1/12 scale action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall. It partially reuses elements from the previously released "BUZZmod. Tanjiro Kamado," and is sculpted to reflect Tanjiro's appearance in the later stages of the story. The facial sculpt is more mature than the previous version, and the wrinkles of the Demon Slayer Corps uniform are faithfully recreated. Tanjiro's iconic black and green checkered haori is tailored from real fabric and features a wire embedded in the edges, allowing for dynamic, flowing poses!
For accessories, it includes the previous four pairs of interchangeable hands and kneeling leg parts. The Hinokami Kagura effect parts are presented with a more translucent visual effect. Additionally, it includes an interchangeable face part featuring the mark (斑紋) from after the Hashira Training Arc. The Nichirin Blade accessories, for both drawn and sheathed states, have been updated to feature the hilt guard (刀鍔) seen in the movie, inspired by his elder brother. With its flexible articulation, it can be displayed alongside the simultaneously revealed "Giyu Tomioka Ver.2" to recreate various scenes from the series!
