Furyu's high-quality character brand F:NEX, a renowned Japanese prize toy manufacturer, has announced its latest product featuring a virtual LIVER from NIJISANJI: the "Lunlun 1/2 Scale Flocked Soft Vinyl Figure," slated for release in September 2026.
Popular NIJISANJI LIVER "Lunlun," who debuted in June 2024, is a member of the group AYAKAKI (Either Iris or Japanese Iris). In her lore, she is a mysterious, omnivorous creature, 40 cm tall, who arrived on Earth from an unknown origin, lost her memory, and was taken in by a research institute. Despite her extremely cute appearance and voice, she refers to herself as "AYAKAKI's Beast." She speaks politely with an extensive vocabulary and is also skilled in songwriting and drawing. Surprisingly, she has a strong fondness for "gyaru" (gal) characters like Seika Shiun from "The Idolmaster Gakuen."
The "Lunlun 1/2 Scale Flocked Soft Vinyl Figure" stands approximately 20 cm tall, recreating Choma's adorable sitting pose with wide, sparkling eyes and hands placed on her belly. The eye parts feature a high-gloss finish to capture a watery, glistening texture, and her omega-shaped mouth is incredibly charming. The figure's paintwork faithfully reproduces the gradient colors of her purple fur and the osmanthus pattern hidden on her back. The bell on her necktie not only features a metallic paint finish for a realistic texture but also rings when shaken.
The figure's most distinctive feature is the 0.6mm flocking applied to its entire surface, giving the soft vinyl model a fluffy, plush-toy-like texture. However, this also means extra care must be taken with dust prevention during storage, as cleaning dust from the flocking can be troublesome. The official recommendation is to display the figure in a dust-proof display case.
