Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has unveiled the "Beast" 1/6 scale articulated figure from the classic X-Men animated series sequel, X-Men '97. With a suggested retail price of US$255 and limited to 1500 units, pre-orders are scheduled to open exclusively on the MONDO official website on February 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM CT!
Beast, whose real name is Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy, first appeared in the September 1963 issue of "Uncanny X-Men" #1. Due to his father's prolonged exposure to radiation while working at a nuclear power plant, Hank was born with an unusual physique. As an adult, an accident during potion research led him to drink an unfinished concoction, transforming him into the blue-furred Beast. He was subsequently invited by Professor X to join the X-Men.
This 1/6 scale articulated Beast figure stands approximately 30.2 cm tall. The sculpting faithfully recreates Hank's robust physique and furry appearance, utilizing painted outlines and distinct light/shadow separation to capture the character's 2D aesthetic from the series! Accessories include five interchangeable head sculpts with different expressions, four sets of interchangeable hands, arm replacement parts for his lab coat and sleeves, glasses, a tongue depressor, a closed and an open book, a tech backpack capable of holding various tools, and a folded Howard the Duck T-shirt, which Beast has worn multiple times in the show. With its flexible articulation, the figure can recreate a wide range of dynamic poses from the series!
