Japan's BANDAI Co., Ltd. toy division GASHAPON has officially unveiled a new product line in collaboration with renowned sculptor Mio Hashimoto, themed around "Ultraman" – the "Ultraman Kaiju Sculptures by Hashimoto Mio 3" capsule toys. The suggested retail price is 800 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in late June 2026!
Sculptor Mio Hashimoto (はしもとみお, Hashimoto Mio) operates her studio in northern Mie Prefecture, Japan. She excels at depicting the natural postures of animals through wood carving, using soft lines to express respect for life. In addition to sculpting, she also creates illustrations and picture books.

Following the previous first and second installments which featured popular kaiju such as Alien Baltan, Pigmon, and Zetton, this "Ultraman Kaiju Sculptures by Hashimoto Mio 3" collection once again includes four popular kaiju. These are the super popular Friendly Monster Booska, Skull Monster Red King, Illusionary Alien Metron Seijin, and Subterranean Monster Twintail. The meticulous molding faithfully reproduces the gentle lines sculpted by Mio Hashimoto, with wood grain and chisel marks exquisitely recreated. Coupled with warm-toned wood-carving-style paintwork, they exude a unique warm ambiance, presenting a high-quality feel distinct from ordinary products! With a size of approximately 8.5 to 9 cm, they possess a significant presence in any gashapon collection and can be displayed alongside the eight kaiju released previously, showcasing the unique charm of these artistic kaiju!!
