The "Creature Encyclopedia" (いきもの大図鑑) product series, released by Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division in Japan and known for its highly realistic reproduction of natural creatures, will launch the latest "Creature Encyclopedia Advance SELECTED EDITION 02" on GASHAPON ONLINE on February 12, 2026! Shipping is expected to begin in late May 2026, with a suggested retail price of 2,000 JPY per capsule. There are a total of four designs to collect.
This second installment of the Creature Encyclopedia Advance Selected Edition once again brings together three highly popular reptile species from the series! These include the "Armadillo Lizard," "Leopard Gecko," and "Fat-tailed Gecko." The Armadillo Lizard features a new color version with sand and dark green as its main tones. The Leopard Gecko comes in a Bell Albino morph and a Bandit polygenic morph, which has distinct black horizontal stripes resembling a bandit's mask. The Fat-tailed Gecko's coloration immediately brings to mind Oreo cookies. Not only can you admire these beautiful reptiles in the palm of your hand, but the Armadillo Lizard can also recreate its tail-biting defensive posture!
