Following the "Ichiban Kuji Sgt. Frog" series, Bandai SPIRITS' immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" (lottery prize) series will once again launch new merchandise based on the classic popular anime "Sgt. Frog" – "Sgt. Frog: The 2nd Wave is Here Right After the Revival!". The suggested retail price is 730 JPY per draw, and it is scheduled to launch on July 4, 2026!
"Sgt. Frog" (ケロロ軍曹) is a monthly manga series created by Japanese manga artist Mine Yoshizaki. In 2004, it was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise, chronicling the boisterous comedic daily lives of Sgt. Keroro and his platoon, who were dispatched from "Keron Star" for reconnaissance but accidentally exposed their presence and ended up living with the Hinata family. After many years, Keroro will finally release a brand new theatrical film in the summer of 2026, which is incredibly exciting!
This "Sgt. Frog: The 2nd Wave is Here Right After the Revival!" will feature prizes of different tiers, from A to L, including the Last One Prize and Double Chance Prize, all centered around the anime series' revival! Currently, the A to E prizes, which are character figures, have been revealed. They feature the five members of the Keroro Platoon: Sgt. Keroro, Private Tamama, Corporal Giroro, Sergeant Major Kururu, and Lance Corporal Dororo. Each figure, standing approximately 11 cm tall, depicts them piloting the flying devices used in the show. Displaying them all lined up will undoubtedly be incredibly eye-catching!
