A highly popular kit, this recently marked the 5th commission for its production. It features a paint scheme in the Awakened Evangelion Unit-01 style, complemented by custom-made transparent flame hand parts designed for magnetic replacement. Having produced multiple kits, the processes of pinning, dry fitting, and mold refinement were executed with remarkable smoothness. The primary painting requirement was a clean finish, thus the shadow painting was subtly adjusted to an almost imperceptible effect. To enhance visual richness, the armor sections incorporate more distinct color separations with varying textures, while the darker areas were treated with a selection of different dark tones. Panel lines were also rendered with vibrant colors to further accentuate the armor segments. The flame hands were initially prototyped through clay sculpting, then cast to create the transparent parts. It became profoundly clear that mold casting presents numerous knowledge blind spots; despite encountering challenges, the final result was exceptionally satisfying.
