Danish toy company LEGO has officially announced its latest product created in collaboration with the Maersk Group: the "40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel"! It is scheduled for release on March 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$149.99.

The Maersk Group is a multinational corporation headquartered in Copenhagen, with core businesses in shipping and energy. The star of this LEGO rendition is the ANE MÆRSK, symbolizing the shipping industry's move towards low-carbon and sustainable practices. The "Dual-Fuel" in the product name refers to a dual-fuel engine system that can switch between green methanol and traditional fossil fuels. This model consists of 1516 pieces, and once assembled, it stands approximately 18 cm tall (including the stand) and boasts an impressive length of 60 cm. It not only faithfully recreates the majestic, massive hull and abundant containers but also looks incredibly stunning when displayed with its nameplate base.

This LEGO version of the ANE MÆRSK also features an easily openable bridge and interior mechanisms for the crew cabins. The engine room utilizes transparent window pieces, allowing direct viewing of its internal workings. The editor personally also really likes the boarding gangways on both sides of the ship.
